The Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC) Board of Directors is seeking a Shareholder interested in filling a vacant board seat to fulfill a term which expires at the 51^st Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Any Shareholder interested in being considered for the Board Vacancy must submit a Letter of Interest and Candidate Questionnaire by 4:30 p.m. AKDT on January 13, 2023.  

As background, the Board seat was recently vacated by Mr. Joseph A. Garnie. The Board will fill this vacancy by selecting a SNC Shareholder to serve the remainder of Mr. Garnie’s term.

To serve as a Director a Shareholder must meet certain criteria, including being at least 18 years of age. Serving on the Board is a position with great responsibility and requires a significant commitment of both time and effort. The Board is seeking a Shareholder that has a strong dedication to our Inupiaq values, the protection of our lands and working together as a Corporation to create continued benefits for our Shareholders.
