Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC) and Bering Straits Native Corporation are excited to team up again for a coastal clean-up in the Nome area, inviting site lessees and Native allotment owners to participate. Taking place October 22nd and 23rd, this is an ideal opportunity to dispose of trash or debris from campsites or homesites to prepare for winter.
To reduce land and travel impact, we will set up two main disposal points: a dump truck at Fort Davis for dropping off trash and a staging area at Nuuk for hauling away debris. Let’s work together to prepare the land for winter and keep it clean.
Shareholders who require assistance with the removal of debris that cannot be discarded by hand should contact the SNC Land Department directly. We will do our best to accommodate any requests. Please note that assistance with removing broken-down motor vehicles will require written authorization from the owner.
For questions, please call (907) 387-1200 or email land@snc.org. Quyana!
