Shareholders and Descendants are invited to share with us photos of how you strengthen intergenerational bonds. Through your lens, we hope to see all the ways in which Elders and Youth enjoy each other’s company, share stories, engage in food preparation or subsistence activities, or practice traditional crafts together.
Part of our Inupiaq heritage is to support our Youth by passing on traditional knowledge and our Youth support our Elders with food security and tasks that become difficult as our Elders age. We are proud of this strong connection and feel it’s important to highlight. 

Shareholders and Descendants may submit as many photos as they like. At the close of the submission period, three winners will be drawn at random and will win $100 each.

To participate, please visit the “Strengthening Intergenerational Bonds” submission portal.
*Please note: this site is most user-friendly with a cell phone/smartphone, but participants can also use a tablet or laptop/desktop to submit their photos. 

Please include the following details for each photo submitted:
-Month and Year when the photo(s) were taken 
-Location of the photo(s), if possible 
-Shareholders and/or Descendants in the photo(s)

Photo Requirements: 

• Label photos by “Last Name, First Initial _ Photo Name”.  Example: “Doe, J._Berry Picking” 
• Photos must be 300 dots per inch or 300 DPI for optimal visual quality 
• Photos must fit into at least one of the following categories: our people, our land, our traditions 

Deadline: Photos must be submitted before 5:00 PM on November 6, 2026, to be eligible for prize(s). 

Additional Information: 

1. For those using a laptop or desktop, you will find the scroll bar within the grey submission field and not on the far right of the screen, where it usually is located.  
2. Descendants should also include in the photo description which Shareholder they are related to. *This will help our team with the verification process to be eligible for prize(s).  
3. Photos submitted may be featured in online and print marketing such as SNC’s corporate website at snc.org, social media platforms, SNC’s Quarterly Venture Newsletter, SNC Messengers, as well as materials for SNC’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders, and more.  

Participants may submit as many photos as they wish, including family historical photos. At the close of the photo submission, there will be three winners, drawn at random. Winners will receive a $100 cash gift card.
