Shareholders, Descendants and community members are invited to join us for a gathering to celebrate our recently acquired land, surrounding the Nome River.

Earlier this month, we were very proud to announce a recent property acquisition of just over 1,700 acres of land surrounding the Nome River. To celebrate this momentous transfer of land, we hope you can join us for a barbecue on June 30th from 2 PM – 4 PM. The barbecue will take place at the Mini-Convention Center. 

Sitnasuak Board Members and staff will be in attendance, highlighting the area we’ve proudly added to our land holdings, sharing information, and answering questions. 

We will also be holding a land ceremony on-site at the 13-mile Nome River bridge from 11 AM – 12 PM. All are welcome to the morning ceremony and ribbon cutting, which will kick off the celebration.
