Our Mission

 

To benefit Shareholders, protect our land and its resources, and support our culture by maximizing the profitability of our corporation while upholding our Inupiaq values.

Our corporate values are deeply rooted in the traditional values and ethical beliefs of our Inupiaq, Yup’ik, and St. Lawrence Island Yupik cultures of the Bering Strait.  Our values are the fundamental source of the corporation’s strength and identity.

Since our formation in 1973, we have sought to adopt best practices from our culture blended with the global business community.
