As we prepare. For our 53^rd Annual Meeting of Shareholders, we wanted to make sure you have this event on your calendar as well. Please save the date for June 6, 2026, for our Annual Meeting, which will be held in Anchorage this year. 

“Footprints of the Past, Guiding Our Future”

Let this year’s theme highlight how the work, values, and knowledge of our ancestors continue to guide us in our work and daily lives. Their tenacity inspires us every day. Our connection to their wisdom walks with us in everything we do, from the smallest daily decisions to our long-term strategies as a Corporation. We honor their resilience, resourcefulness, and deep sense of community, remembering that every step forward is built upon their sacrifices and teachings.

No matter how far we travel from our Elders’ paths, we still cherish their values, which allow us to thrive as a Corporation and support the well-being of our People today and for future generations. Through unity and respect for our roots, we build a legacy our ancestors would be proud of and one our children will carry on.

Just as the late Arthur ‘Guy’ Martin eloquently stated, “…our work is not done, we have to look at what we have had in the past and move forward.”  These words of wisdom, coupled with our 53^rd Annual Meeting theme, will continue to guide us.

ANNUAL MEETING DETAILS  

Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026 

Time: Doors open at 8:00 a.m. (AKDT) / Meeting Call to Order at 10:00 a.m. (AKDT) 

Shareholders who wish to vote in person by ballot have until 11:00 a.m. on the day of the event to register to vote at the Annual Meeting. All ballots must be cast or turned in by 12:30 p.m. in the deposit box at the Inspector of Elections on the day of the Annual Meeting.

Location: Arctic Rec Center, Anchorage, AK

For Shareholders unable to attend the meeting in person, the meeting will be live-streamed through our voting website (sncvote.org).  Please note that those who plan to participate via the live stream will not have the option to ask questions during the meeting.  Please submit your questions in advance to questions@snc.org by 4:00 p.m., AKDT on June 5, 2026.
