There is an opportunity for Shareholders to serve on the Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC) Board of Directors.
As background, Director Charles E. Fagerstrom has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SNC and has resigned from the Board. Charles shared, “I am grateful to have served on the Board of Directors and honored to step into a new role in providing the leadership necessary to assure continued growth, profitability, and value to Sitnasuak Shareholders.”
Interested Shareholders that can serve as a director to fill this board vacancy are requested to submit a letter of interest and a candidate questionnaire on or before 4:00 PM AKDT on March 16, 2020.
In accordance with state law and the SNC Bylaws, the Board may fill board vacancies by selecting an eligible Shareholder to serve the remainder of the term. The vacant board term serves until the 49th Annual Meeting or when a successor is elected and qualified.
Shareholders who are 18 years of age or older are invited to submit a letter of interest and candidate questionnaire (available by clicking here or from the Shareholder Department) to be considered.
The letter and questionnaire are due on or before March 16, 2020, at 4:00 PM AKDT.
