Campsite Program
The purpose of offering campsite permits to shareholders and individuals is to give them the ability to use the property owned by SNC for subsistence and recreational campsites. Generally, the land available for use is on our local road system: to mile 20 on the Nome-Council Road; to mile 20 on the Nome-Kougarok Road; to mile 20 on the Glacier Creek Road; and to mile 28 on the Nome-Teller Road.
To obtain a campsite as a shareholder, a non-refundable application fee of $20 will be charged on all applications. The application fee is waived for elders age 60 and over. During the first three years of establishing your campsite, an annual fee of $20 will be charged. After three years you may apply for tri-annual renewal.
To obtain a campsite as a non-shareholder, a non-refundable application fee of $50 will be charged on all applications. The annual campsite permit fee is $450.
Feel free to contact us with any questions you might have concerning SNC's campsite permits.
You can mail, fax, drop off, or scan and email your completed campsite permit. Please call for invoicing.
